Andrew Bingleman, Born 25 November 1801 in Germany, married Anmarier (Mary) Shiveley Born 03 April 1802. They had four children in Germany whom they brought with them when they sailed on the boat to New York State in about 1830. The rest of their children were born in the US or Upper Canada.
They settled temporarily at Batavia, New York, and lived for several years in Humberstone Twp, Welland Co., then in South Cayuga Twp., Haldimand Co., just west of the Fradenburgh tract, where they operated some sort of store out of their log cabin home. They are on the 1851-52 census of South Cayuga Twp.,also the 1861 and 1871 census They are buried in Sweets Corners, along with their daughters Mary Fradenburgh and Caroline Dennis.
John S. Bingleman, who was born in Ulm, Germany, married Elizabeth Knisely, born of German parents in Selkirk, Ontario Canada. They had seven children, whose names were:
They moved from Selkirk to Charlotteville Township near Walsh Ontario, Canada in 1856, and lived there until John died in 1903. Elizabeth then went to live with her daughter Della near Simcoe, Ontario Canada, where she died in 1904.
John Henry Bingleman was a carpenter. He built the house that he and Lydia lived in and raised their eight children. He died at the age of 85, but the last five years were spent in bed with a broken hip, caused from a fall from a ladder. Their eight Children were:
John Henry Bingleman Married Lydia Jane Stuart, in Charlotteville Township June 11, 1879.
Lydia Jane Stuart was the eldest daughter of Permelia (Elliot) and Charles A. Stuart. She was born in Chickasaw, Iowa. After Charles Stuarts death, her mother married George Mabee and they moved to the Mabee farm in the township of Charlottesville (now Delhi), Ontario, Canada.
